Google was rated the best company to work with this Monday by the Fortune Magazine after a research with over 100,000 interviews and with 446 companies to choose from.
Google ensures that they ensure a workplace which is so cozy that it's difficult for them to leave for home. Not to mention their stock option scheme which will fill every googler's pockets...Their office is a virtual campus and runs gourmet cafeterias, snack rooms, laundry, doctors on site, hair stylists and a lot more for "free". Find the perks of being a Googler right here. No wonder they get 1300 resumes a day :)
The only question on my mind is why weren't in the top 100 last year....?Link to 100 Best Companies to Work For 2007: Google snapshot | FORTUNE

I saw that-- they have some great perks, like flex time for everyone, paid benefits, and they buy you food for a few weeks (up to $500) right after you have a baby. I think they also give you 3/4 pay when on maternity leave.
Great perks, but wouldn't you expect a company that has nearly $145 billion in market capitalization to provide benefits like these?
